Upcoming Event Goals: Now that we have our volunteers and network started, we will start planning our first three events.  These events will be: A. Launch Event: This event will serve as a run-through and practice session for everyone involved. Our primary focus will be to ensure our volunteers are set up for success by reviewing every step of the process and allowing time to make any necessary adjustments. B. The Blind Community Event: This will be the first community with which Team Able partners. Marquita, our board member who is completely blind, will coordinate this event. We will follow the model established during the launch event, incorporating a panel and additional activities to create a unique empathetic experience. C. The Autism Spectrum Community Event: This will be the next community we spotlight. We are actively seeking individuals willing to share their experiences living with Autism. We also have educators and parents of individuals with Autism who are eager to participate. Our final goal for this event is to include a table and representation from the blind community, ensuring we support the ongoing growth of all past and future communities.
